Bearded dragons live in Australia. They are found in semi-desert and arid regions. During the day they stay underground. They come out at night.
Bearded dragons eat insects and vegetation.
- If a bearded dragon comes out during the day you might see it run on it's back legs to escape the heat
- Females are able to choose when they lay eggs. They wait to lay eggs until conditions are good for their babies to survive
- Males have a flap of skin under their neck. They fan this skin and bob their head when they want to scare away another male or impress a female
